Flour & Feast Bakery

Everything at this bakery is made on the premises. ‘Real’ bread is baked daily, and even the pesto, jam, custard, curd, bread, kimchi, coleslaw, marshmallow fluff, soup, hummus and granola is made on-site.

There’s a good range of sweet and savoury products including granola pots, artisan sandwiches, cakes, pastries and bread – vegan cinnamon buns are a big favourite with Flour & Feast customers. On Saturdays, there’s Roman-style artisan pizza and vegan doughnuts. 

The bread is the star attraction however, with the bakers using just four ingredients: water, flour, salt and yeast. It’s then fermented – a stage often left out of mass-produced, factory-made bread – which breaks down phytic acid and make it easier to digest

Flour & Feast Bakery is committed to being as sustainable as possible and uses biodegradable and recyclable packaging. Local ingredients are used, including Cherry View milk, from Cherry Burton, and Bradshaw’s flour, from Driffield. It is a part of the Refill scheme, so you can fill up water bottles whenever you like.
